I need your input please

Here to provide you with the tools to build a successful career

In an ideal world the support we give you will provide the tools you need to manage your career; to enable you to find the job you really love to do, the one which makes you bounce out of bed in the morning. Unfortunately it's not always an ideal world and many members we speak to are feeling overwhelmed in their career management.

Whilst we have developed a number of ways to help you manage your career, we can always improve so I have a question for you:

How can we help you manage your career?

Hi Charlotte,

Here are a few comments on your post:

1. Topics to cover: CPD and Professional Development both in the RSC and other organisations. CV writing, Use of Social media in career development?
2. Methods of delivery: initially I prefer email, but some things are much better discussed face to face or even in a small group.
3. Events: One to ones, perhaps this could be developed into small groups of people.
4. Things to do. Keep up with the one to one career reviews. I have had several over the years with you and your colleagues and I have always found them very helpful.

5. I am happy to come along to Burlington House to talk about my work and qualifications to a small group of students or other people who want to develop their careers, perhaps there are others out there who could come and talk about their work/qualifications/career etc.
