I know I'm a bit late today but I have been scouring the net for inspiration. I have finally found it. Lots of people are looking for inspiration on what else they can do...but where do you find that kind of information?

The answer is here:

For job titles in all sectors:

www.prospects.ac.uk - aimed at graduates this is a very comprehensive site that is useful for everyone
https://nextstep.direct.gov.uk - a government website that has recently had a revamp
icould.com - video profiles of 1000 people
Careersbox - video profiles including those from ChemCareers 2010

For occupational profiles at particular companies you can look at specific company websites e.g.

dstl
RSC
Shell

If you are just looking to see what people do after they graduate look at this report by Vitae or if you have absolutely no idea what you're looking for have a look at this site which aims to help you determine the transferrable skills you'd like to use in the future.
