RSC support for South Africa outreach event


The RSC South Wales Local Section sponsored Dr Matthew Lloyd Davies of Bangor University, to take part in an outreach event in South Africa titled 'Catching the Light in the Rainbow Nation'. This ambitious project aimed to promote the understanding of chemistry to 1300 school children in just two weeks, through workshops themed around chemistry and light.

The event was run by a team of scientists from Bangor University, Swansea University, and the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
