Chemistry in Health Symposium - towards new therapeutics to fight disease
26 May, Burlington House, London, UK
This symposium will highlight the value of chemistry and biochemistry in understanding disease and developing new therapeutics. Five distinguished scientists from the UK and USA who have been awarded our Prizes and Awards will speak about their research, in areas such as small molecule lead discovery, understanding the processes of infectious disease and the generation of new antibiotics. We will also explore the development of new improved platforms for collaboration, such as Public Private Partnerships (PPP) as a way to enable research and development to deliver the medicines of the future.
Poster Abstract deadline: 29 April 2015
Submit your poster abstract for the opportunity to showcase your research during the poster session. Abstracts are welcomed from all disciplines to cover the following themes: natural products, lead discovery; target identification and validation; biophysical methods to support drug discovery; understanding the processes of drug resistance and generation of new antibiotics.
