Today is the anniversary of the death, at Saint Petersburg on 2 Feb  1907, of the Russian chemist Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev, who is probably  best remembered for developing the periodic classification of the  elements. The 313 km diameter lunar impact crater Mendeleev, located on  the far side of the Moon, is named in his honour

It takes super genius brain to create a periodic table! Cant imagine how he wrote down the symbols for the chemical elements and put them in order according to their atomic weights thus creating the periodic table. Scientist can develop other miracle materials thanks to the periodic table. Yeah, he should be remembered.
