GDPR – Toolkit for Member Networks - UPDATE
I just wanted to update you all on the progress of the anticipated resources to support our networks in complying with the new General Data Protection Regulation.

I would like to reassure you that the resources are being produced and will be made available soon. As you may know the ICO can make amendments to the regulation at any time until 25 May 2018. An email will be sent to the Chairs, Secretaries and Treasurers in the next month with a link to the completed resources.

As noted by the Information Commissioner the data storage requirements of the new regulation are not a drastic change to the requirements of the current Data Protection Act and as such we advise that you continue to maintain your data as you always have done in compliance with our rules.

If you have any questions please email networks@rsc.org.

Please remember that you can contact the Networks Team at any time for support or guidance at any time.
