Change of RSC job role
As many of you may already know, Sarah Harrison has recently left the Member Networks Team having gained a new role at the RSC as Professional Standards Specialist. Sarah will be responsible for Chartered Chemist (CChem) and Chartered Scientist (CSci) status as well as accreditation of company training schemes. Sarah’s position as Member Networks Specialist will be filled in due course but, for the meanwhile, if you have any queries, please send them to:

msadmin@rsc.org by 30 September. Please include the selection criteria of the members (e.g. over 70 or retired) and we will arrange to dispatch the cards and address labels to you at the end of October.
IYC £1000 Challenge Grants
We will be announcing an exciting new project at this year’s General Assembly. The IYC challenge fund will aim to create a legacy for the International Year of Chemistry through multiple grants from the RSC.
