I have a selection of chemistry texts that i'd rather not re-cycle....
Does anybody know of any organisation or charity that might take these and re-deploy them for educational purposes ?
You can try selling them or giving them to your school's student body or representative council.
You can also donate them to some charity shops if need be.
Also, just in case I need them, what text books are they?
You could also try donating them to your uni's library. My uni kept a big drop box for book donations. Although I generally didn't rely on getting textbooks from the library, it was always super nice to have them on hand in a pinch. Although you are right to put your opinion in the thread, it's definitely the case that you couldn't posibly know if one was better than the other unless you had done both. then, you would be qualified to answer as such.
I do agree, with you, however, that not every system suits every individual
