FTIR spectrometry

Can anyone tell me please, is there a free software that will open and manage .SPA files? Or are they only functional within OMNIC software?.. Is it possible to get a free trial of OMNIC?

Murray, hi - have you ever used Spectragryph? https://www.effemm2.de/spectragryph - its feature list shows
  • THERMO Nicolet: OMNIC FTIR spectrometers (*.spa, *.spg)
Hope this helps.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the link, much appreciated, I will give it a look over as soon as I have time.

It appears that Thermo Fisher have a free version of OMNIC online, it's interactive but lacks some functions.
OMNIC Cloud Platform - https://www.thermofisher.com/uk/en/home/industrial/spectroscopy-elemental-isotope-analysis/molecular-spectroscopy/fourier-transform-infrared-ftir-spectroscopy/cloud-enabled-ftir-spectroscopy.html

Thank you again,

Murray
