The main objective of the Analytical Division is to encourage and promote advances in the analytical sciences and related fields by providing a platform for the exchange of information and ideas. It organises meetings and, via the Analytical Chemistry Trust Fund, finances studentships, Schools Analyst competitions, awards, lectureships and VSO students. The Division embraces the interdisciplinary nature of science and works with other RSC Divisions and Forms to encourage the development of new and emerging areas of science.
